A group of authors and their visual research in the field of the collage principle of work are showcased in this exhibition. The works of art fall into the classifications of digital video, collage (drawing), and printmaking. These methods are freely adapted in all three arts.

The collage principle of work is a widespread practice in various contemporary art forms and, although it is still associated with the combination of different materials, images and textures, it is gaining wider scope through contemporary realities and new media in art. Collage is not just a technique, but a way of thinking and a creative approach that allows artists to express their ideas in a unique way by combining different elements and concepts.
The remix culture, in turn, is a phenomenon that arose with the development of digital technologies and the Internet, and is a process of reworking, modifying and combining existing media products to create new works. The remix culture, which is becoming increasingly widespread, encourages individual creativity and innovation. Remix is not just copying, it involves analysis, rethinking and a new interpretation of the original work.

What do the two principles of work have in common? What distinguishes them?
These comparable methods have a deep and complex philosophical underbelly. They bring up a number of issues regarding identity, authenticity, meaning, and significance. They frequently entail dissecting preexisting images and materials before reconstructing them in novel settings. The way that familiar elements are dissected and reinterpreted to produce new knowledge and meaning can be interpreted as a metaphor for human understanding and experience. Multiple interpretations are frequently allowed by the collage principle of art and the remix culture, which highlights the subjectivity of meaning and the viewer’s role in meaning-making. They can be viewed as a way to promote interaction and exchange between various cultures, styles, and ideas while demonstrating how various components can enhance and complement one another.
